We take the sting out of Annual Statutory Accounts

After registering your company with Companies House, file Annual Statutory Accounts, choosing between full or abridged versions. New business owners must submit their first set of Statutory Accounts 21 months after starting their limited company. Missing either deadline can result in fines of up to £1,500.

Statutory Accounts are time-consuming and complex

They have to be done by the book, and they have to be right. They must include a balance sheet, a profit and loss account, a cashflow statement and notes, a director’s report and all the key company information. Accurate to the last decimal point, in the correct format, and with all the correct notes.

Trust Pi Accountancy with your Statutory Accounts

You can be reassured that, when it comes to this part of accountancy, we are ‘boring accountants’! We love numbers and we enjoy getting your accounts 100% correct. But most of all, we enjoy what those numbers can reveal about your business.

The good news is, the sooner you file your Statutory Accounts or your VAT returns, the sooner we can review these numbers and we can use that information to help plan your future.

Why Pi?

We founded Pi to look at things differently to other accountants.

Much of accountancy is about looking back and reporting on what’s already happened. We all have to file Statutory Accounts, or tax returns. We all have to file those Company House forms. They’re business critical, but they’re all about what’s already happened.

But when you work with us at Pi, we look at the story your numbers reveal about the future. Numbers provide a wealth of information (that’s why we’re obsessed with them!) Together, we can use that data to set your business targets and create a plan that will drive your business to the next level.
